2 pkgs. vanilla wafers, crushed
1/4 c. brandy
1 lb. ground walnuts
1/4 c. rum
1/2 c. strained honey
Confectioners' sugar
Mix first five ingredients thoroughly. Form into small balls; use a level tablespoon for each ball. Roll in sugar or coconut.
Store in stone jar, tightly covered. Will keep as long as five weeks.
BRANDY BALLS (No Bake)

4 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. zwieback (crushed)
1 1/2 c. milk
1 ½ c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
3 tsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. brandy
6-8 bot chocolate decors
In large saucepan, put milk, sugar, butter and cocoa; mix well and bring to a boil.
Then simmer 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add walnuts and zwiebach. Cool. When cool to touch, take a teaspoon of mixture, wet hands with brandy, and roll into a ball, then roll into chocolate decors.
NOTE:
Zwieback is a type of biscuit, but you could use any.
