ENTABENI BREAD ROLLS




Entabeni Bread Rolls
Pre-heat oven to 180°C
1kg cake flour
125 ml sugar
1tsp salt
1 packet of yeast
20g butter
500 ml warm water
I mix all the dry ingredients, then I melt down the butter in the warm water, pour it over the dry ingredients - and start kneading! Let it rise, knead down, form balls and put them in a oiled or buttered baking pan (I used a round enamel one)
Dust some flour on top.
Bake until golden brown - about 40min??*
Serve with butter and honey or apricot jam or Bovril

En hier besluit ek nou om ook ietsie by te dra! Junie die jaar het ek en my man by die Entabeni Lodge gebly in Gauteng en ekt die chef gesmeek vir sy brood rolletjie resep. Ekt hom vertel dat ek nie brood bak nie, maar ek sal van nou af...en ekt dit al n paar maal gebruik!! Ek noem hulle sommer.
