Drizzling Your Sugar Cookies

Place cookies on wax paper or a wire rack over wax paper. Prepare Chocolate Sugar Glaze; until smooth. Using a spoon, drizzle evenly over cookies. Let dry completely.

Sugar Glaze
2 cups icing sugar
2 tablespoons plus teaspoon water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 teaspoon cocoa, sifted

In a bowl, combine the sugar, water and vanilla; stir until combined and smooth (mixture will be thick). Mix in the cocoa. With a butter knife or small metal spatula, lightly spread glaze on cooled cookies. Let dry for about 1 hour.
Yield: 3/4 cup.
