LOADED CAULIFLOWER

LOADED CAULIFLOWER:

Ingredients:
1 large head of Cauliflower cut into bite size pieces (approx 6 cups)
6-8 strips of bacon cooked and crumbled (Cooked in oven at 204°C for 20 mins)
6 Tbs chopped Chives
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour Cream
2 cups Cheddar Cheese
250g container sliced mushrooms

Directions:

Preheat oven to 220°C
In a large pot boil water and cook Cauliflower for 8 - 10 minutes, drain and let cool.
In a large bowl combine sour cream, mayo, 1/2 of crumbled bacon, 3 tbs chives, 1 cups of cheese, mushrooms and cauliflower and mix well... place in baking dish and cover with remaining 1 cup of cheese and rest of bacon crumbles. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted.
Top with remaining 3 Tbs chives and serve.

1x Blomkool heel gekoop in bietjie sout water moet nog crispy wees.
Indie tussen tyd braai
bacon 
spring onion en 
mushrooms   saam. 

WITSOUS
¾  koppie koekmeel                                
1.5 l warm melk
5 eetlepels botter {NIE MARGARIEN}     
Knippie sout
1 ml droë mosterd of 5 ml aangemaakte mosterd
1 koppie gerasperde cheddar                 
Parmesan kaaspoeier na smaak

METODE
Roer botter, meel en melk saam oor matige hitte tot geen klonte. Geur met sout en peper en kook tot witsous dik is. Roer die mosterd en helfte kaas by.
Maak wit sous soos hierbo en voeg die bacon uie en mushrooms by wit sous.
Skep Blomkool in bak en gooi wit sous mengsel Bo oor en Dan gerasperde kaas. Bak in oond tot kaas gesmelt het en bruinerig Mar nie baie bruinerig nie. My skoonseun eet so bak op by homself en hy is nie groente outjie nie.
