5ml koeksoda
5ml bakpoeier &

METODE:
In 'n meng bak druk
piesangs baie mooi fyn
Meng met eier & suiker
Giet (bietjie
afgekoelde gesmelte) botter by & meng goed
Sif meel & sout saam
Gooi bietjies-bietjies by terwyl jy meng na
elke byvoeging
Laastens sit koeksoda & bakpoeier by
Moet nie 'n stywe
of te slap deeg wees nie
Giet in broodpan & bak by 180gC vir 40-45min,
toets met pen of gaar
Laat staan in pan vir so 5min & dan keer

Metode:
Meng fyn piesang, suiker en sagte margarien goed. Sif meelblom, bakpoeier en sout saam en voeg by piesang mengsel. Meng eiers baie goed en voeg by mengsel. Meng vanilla en koeksoda met melk en voeg laaste by. Meng goed.
Bak by 180 grade tot bruin en gaar ongeveer 'n uur.Toets met toothpick, indien skoon uitkom, is broodjie gereed.
Jy kan ook so ¾ k gekapte neute en/of klapper insit indien verkies

Bak vir 20 - 25 minute by 180 grade C.

Strawberry Banana Bread
1&3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 large over-ripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 cup strawberries, sliced
1. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in classic batter bowl.
2. Mix brown sugar, bananas, eggs, vanilla extract, yogurt and strawberries in another large bowl.
3. Mix the dr y ingredients into the wet ingredients.
4. Pour mixture into a stoneware loaf pan!

Sif 2 kp meel,
2 tl bakpoeier en
½ tl sout by,
laastens 6-8 fyngedrukte piesangs. Ek gooi my piesangs
in die blender saam met die karringmelk en teelepel
suurlemoensap. Ek gooi dit laaste by die res en meng dan
die hele lot. **HOE RYPER DIE PIESANGS HOE MEER SMAAK HET DIE BROOD**
Bak 180grade C vir so 30 tot 40 minute, maar
omdat almal se oonde anders is, kyk na so 30 min
en toets met toetspen of skoon mes.
Ek sif net versiersuiker oor.

Banana Bread in a Jar Recipe
(adapted from allrecipes.com)
(Makes one dozen 250 ml jars)
Ingredients:
¦2/3 cup shortening/white butter/white margarine
¦2 2/3 cups white sugar
¦4 eggs
¦2 cups mashed bananas
¦2/3 cup water
¦3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
¦1/2 teaspoon baking powder
¦2 teaspoons baking soda
¦1 1/2 teaspoons salt
¦1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¦1 teaspoon ground cloves (I used half a teaspoon because I didn’t want mine too ‘clovey’.)
¦2/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
You will also need:
¦12 x 250 ml canning jars
¦funnel (tregter) If you planning on storing these for a while, you will need to sterilize your jars. (Some reviewers on Allrecipes.com said the jars will keep up to a year in your pantry if sealed properly. If you want to keep the breads, sterilize the jars. I didn’t sterilize my jars because I plan on eating mine within the next week or so.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease insides of a dozen 250ml canning jars. (I wiped mine down with vegetable oil.)
1.In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Mash bananas.
3. Beat in eggs, bananas, and water.
4. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, and cloves.
5. Add to banana mixture. Add nuts and stir them in with spoon.
6. Insert canning funnel into mouth of jar and pour mixture into greased jars, filling half full.
7. Place jars directly on rack in oven.
Do NOT put lids on jars for baking. Be careful to keep the rims clean, wiping off any batter that gets on the rims. Bake for 45 minutes.
Don’t worry if a few rise over the top of the jar a bit like this one. You can press it down with the lid.

25 ml jogurt, suurmelk of karringmelk

6 med piesangs, fyngemaak

Meng al die droe bestandele, in 'n ander houer meng al die vloeistof, gooi nou die vloeistof by die droe bestandele, meng goed en bak.
• Broodpan ± 11 cm x 27 cm

2k Meel
1tl BP
1tl Koeksoda
3/4k Melk
knippie sout
Room die botter en die suiker saam.
Voeg die eiers een vir een by.
Sif die meel, BP en sout saam.
Los die koeksoda in die melk op en voeg dit dan om die beurt met die meel by die eier en botter mengsel. ( begin en eindig met die meel )
Laastens vou die piesang in.

BANANA BREAD
2 Loaves Units:
2 cups very ripe pureed bananas (approx. 6 bananas)
2 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
1/2 cup oil (if your prefer, you may sub. melted, unsalted butter)
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup Coca-Cola
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 150*C degrees.
2 Spray two 9 X 5 inch loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray.
3 Using your food processor, puree the bananas, then remove the puree to another bowl and set aside.
4 No need to clean the work bowl of your food processor, just add together and blend well the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.
5 Takes about 1 minute.
6 Measure and mix together, in a separate bowl, all the dry ingredients except the nuts.
7 Return banana puree to processor work bowl.
8 Add dry ingredients and blend, pouring in the coca cola as mixture is blending together.
9 Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
10 Blend in nuts by hand.
11 Divide mixture between the two loaf pans.
12 Place loaf pans on a baking sheet in the oven.
13 Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes OR until loaves test done in the middle with a toothpick.
14 Let cool about 10-15 minutes then turn loaves out of pans to finish cooling.
15 These loaves keep well or can be frozen.
This banana bread is, without a doubt, one of the very best I have ever made.
The loaves have a very nice deep color and a beautiful crumb.

BANANA FLAN BREAD
Preparation time: 10 min
Baking time: 30min
Ingredients
60ml Butter at room temperature
125ml Castor sugar
1 egg
2 Bananas smashed
1t Vanilla essence
250ml Cake flour
1t Baking powder
1/4t Salt
50g White chocolate buttons
50g Amaretto biscuits – broken into pieces
40g Almond flakes
Crème Fraiche for serving
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Butter a medium loose bottom flan pan.
2. Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy. Then add the egg and mix it in with the butter and sugar mix.
3. Mix the bananas and vanilla essence into the mixture.
4. Add all the dry ingredients gently – be careful not to over mix – and pour into prepared pan.
5. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes.
6. Serve with a sprinkling of icing sugar and a few dollops of crème fraiche

die bottel met Spray n Cook en as jy dit oopmaak gly dit uit die bottel uit. Jy

SWEET AND EASY LAZY BANANA BREAD
[I'M A LAZY MOM]
1 package (any brand) yellow cake mix (18 oz) [vanilla cake]
3 eggs
1 1/3 cups vegetable oil
4 mashed bananas
WHAT TO DO:
Heat oven to 180°C.
Mix all ingredients well and pour them into greased bread pans.
Bake 180°C for 25 minutes.
They turn out a bit more sweet than normal banana bread…kind of like a light banana cake.

(ek het dit uur en 20min in oond gehad, en 4piesangs gevat.)
Wenk : Jy kan dit vries vir tot 3 maande deur lugdig te verpak. Jy kan dit verwarm na ontdooing by 15 minute by 120 - 150 C**Lynette van Zyl **
