SJOE-SJOE
Chayotes (shoux shoux) are fat free, cholesterol free, sodium free, good source of vitamin C. Besides being high in vitamin C, the chayote is low in calories, low in sodium, contains no cholesterol, and is a good source of fiber. The chayote is also versatile to cook with because it can be eaten raw, used in salads, or it can be fried, baked, broiled, sautéed, steamed, mashed, or microwaved. It can also be used as an ingredient in soups and stews.

1 Eetl Margerien
1/2 Kop Suiker
1 Groot Eier
1 Opgehoopte Eetl Koekmeel
1 Opgehoopte Teel Bakpoeier
Knippie Sout
1 Groot gerasperde Sjoe Sjoe of 2 kleintjies

METODE:
Room botter en suiker en klits eier by.
Roer ander bestanddele by en meng met biejie melk.
Beslag moet slap wees.
Roer gerasperde Sjoe Sjoe in.
Strooi kaneelsuiker oor en bak in 'n oop skottel vir ongeveer 45 - 50 minute.
