3 eiergele
25ml suurlemoensap
100g sagte botter
25ml warm water
2ml sout
2ml peper
Metode:
Meng die eiergele en die suurlemoensap, botter, water, sout en peper. Verhit die mengsel sowat 5min lank in 'n dubbelkoker of oor warm water tot dit effens verdik. Laat effens afkoel.

2 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour (I used 1/2 white 1/2 whole wheat)
2 teaspoon instant yeast
3 tablespoon softened butter
Cornmeal
Instructions
Mix together water, milk, honey and salt.
Add 2 cups of flour and the yeast.
Mix until you have a loose batter.
Cover the mixture and let rise for about 1 hour.
Add the butter and the remainder of the flour and mix.
Roll out dough on a surface sprinkled with cornmeal to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into circles.
Let rise until doubled.
Cook on a hot (about 350 degrees), well buttered griddle until they are light brown.
Turn once while cooking.
Cool and eat… or eat while hot, I cut them in half but you can also pry them open with a fork.

Metode vir die maak van die Hollandaisesous

Gooi die eiergele, suurlemoensap, sout en Tabasco in die elektriese menger en meng teen medium of hoë spoed
vir ongeveer 20-30 sekondes totdat die mengsel ʼn liggeel kleur aanneem.
Plaas die mengsel in ʼn tweede bak met kookwater en skakel die menger se
spoed na ‘laag’. Drup die warm gesmelte botter in die mengsel en hou
aan met meng totdat die sous verdik.

4 lekker dik stukke ham - spek, polonie, boelie kan ook oorweeg word

Metode vir die maak van die res van die dis
Rooster die 4 halveerde muffins en smeer botter daarop. Bak die ham in ʼn pan oor medium hitte en plaas dit bo-op die muffins.
