GARLIC CHUTNEY / DRY



SPICY DRY GARLIC CHUTNEY
1 cup garlic pods peeled
1 cup unsalted peanuts
1/2 cup cayenne pepper powder
1/4 cup Paprika powder
1/4 cup cumin powder
1/4 cup of vegetable oil (optional)
1/2 cup coriander powder
2 table spoons salt
Method:
Roast the peanuts on Yava /griddle and let them cool.
Put peanuts, garlic pods, oil, all dry spices and salt in a food processor.
Grind them together to desired consistency/fineness.
You can store this in the airtight jar in fridge for 4-5 weeks.

How to make Dry Garlic Chutney

[With coconut]
15-18 cloves garlic
2 tbsp dried coconut
2 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Combine the garlic, coconut, green chillies and ginger in a blending bowl.
Blend to make a smooth powder.
Add lemon juice, red chilli powder and salt as per the taste.
Again blend just for few seconds.
Use as and when required.
Chef Tips:
Keep this garlic chutney in air tight container.
