CRUNCHIES

Crunchies

Ek het die suiker vervang met diabetiese suiker.
330ml cake flour;
250ml desiccated coconut;
375ml low GI muesli:
500ml low GI oats;
125ml oat bran;
250ml digestive bran;
30ml golden syrup;
190ml lite margarine;
190ml sugar;
5ml bicarb of soda;
30ml boiling water;
1 extra large egg, beaten
Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Spray a 230x320mm Swiss roll baking tray.
In a large bowl mix together cake flour, coconut, muesli, oats, oat bran and digestive bran.
In a saucepan heat the syrup, margarine and sugar on a low heat.
Stir in the bicarb of soda and allow to foam. Add boiling water and mix well.
Pour mixture over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly then add the egg to the batter and combine.
Spread mix on the baking sheet and press down evenly.
Place in the pre-heated oven and reduce the heat to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven an allow to cool in baking tray for 10 mins cut into squares and then place back into the oven to dry out like you would do with rusks (approx 1 and half hours at 100 degrees Celsius)
Can be stored in an airtight container for up to a month.*14/4/13

250ml margarien
4 kop. Klapper
4 kop. Hawermout
1 tl. Kaneel
1/2 tl. Sout
4 eetl. Stroop
10ml koeksoda opgelos in 80ml melk
1kop. Koekmeel
1 1/2 kop. Suiker

METODE:

Meng droë bestanddele en suiker. Smelt margarien en stroop. Voeg koeksoda en melk by. Druk mengsel in pan vas en bak by 180*C grade vir 15-20 min. Sny in blokkies terwyl warm !!!Helena 7/10/10 ♥.

ANRI SE CRUNCHIE KOEKIES
(maak 15 dosyn)

250g stork bake
500 ml suiker
2 eiers
30ml grondboontjiebotter
5ml vanilla
10ml koeksoda
10ml bakpoeier
100ml melk
500ml koekmeel
500ml oats (gebak)
500ml klapper (gebak)
500ml fyn post toasties (maak dit fyn met jou koekroller)
knippie sout

METODE:
1. Meng margarien en suiker goed saam.
2. Klop nou jou eiers in.
3. Meng koeksoda met melk.
4. Klop dan die grondboontjiebotter, vanilla by melk.
5. Meng melk mengsel met botter mengsel.
6. Meng res van droeë bestandele en meng met botter mengsel.
7. Rol klein balletjies ( R5 grootte) druk bietjie plat met vurk.
8. Pak so 2cm uit mekaar en bak 12-15min by 180°C.
9. Laat afkoel op droog rak.
