APPLE TARTLETS





APPLE TARTLETS

 (Makes 6 tartlets)

2rolls ready made pie pastry
 4-6 apples, peeled, cores removed, sliced & then cubed
 1+1/2tsp cinnamon; sugar to taste
 METHOD:
Simmer chopped apples & cinnamon in a little water till soft.
 Use just enough water to ke
ep apples moist.
 Sweeten to taste.
 Divide roomtemperature dough into three equal parts.
 Regrigerate rest of dough.
Divide the 2/3 dough into six portions & use them to fill a greased muffin pan.
Fill each crust with apple mixture.
Grate dough from fridge over apple filling & bake in a preheated oven 180c for 20mins or until baked through & pale brown.
 Serve warm with whipped cream or cold
