BANANA CHEESECAKE





BANANA CHEESECAKE DESSERT
 (taste of home)
Banana Cheesecake
CRUST
1+3/4C crushed nuttycrust biscuits
 1/4C sugar
 1/2C melted butter
FILLING
 250g cream cheese-softened
1/2C sugar
250g thawed, frozen whipped topping
3-4 med firm bananas sliced
1+3/4C cold milk
125g instant banana cream pudding mix.
METHOD:
 Crush biscuits very fine, mix with sugar & rub butter in.
Mix well. (Reserve 1/2C for topping).
 Press into a 22cm square baking dish, bottom & up the sides.
 Bake at 180C for 5-8mins. Cool on wire rack.
FILLING:
Beat cream cheese & sugar in a bowl until smooth.
 Fold in 2Cups whipped topping.
Arrange half the banana slices in crust, top with half cream cheese mixture.
Repeat layers. Whisk milk & pudding mix in a bowl for 2mins.
Let stand for 3mins or until soft-set, fold in remaining whipped topping & mix well.
Pour over cream cheese layer & top with reserved crumb mixture.
Refrigerate for 1-2hrs or until set. Yield 10 servings..
