CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS

1 Cup syrup
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup peanut butter
6 Cups rice krispies
1 Cup butterscotch candy morsels
1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels 
     


METHOD:
Place syrup & sugar into a saucepan & cook over med heat.
Stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves & mixture begins to boil.
Remove from heat. 
Stir in peanut butter & mix well. Add rice krispies & stir/mix until well coated.
Press into a cooking spray coated baking tin. 
Set aside.
Melt chocolate & butterscotch pieces together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread mixture evenly over cereal mixture & let stand until firm.
Cut into squares when cool.
TIP: Spray cup with cooking spray before measuring syrup - syrup will slide out easily.Moira Botha Dyer
